Finally, some time to blog! Jake is now 10 months old. I wanted to blog about all of his milestones but, unfortunately, October was an extremely busy month, with internship applications on top of everything else that is making my life busy...so busy that I had to temporarily drop off the face of the (virtual) earth because every free minute that I had was devoted to internship applications, etc. etc. (P.S. I am so done with school.). I'll be honest, I have not had the time to keep up with everyone else's blogs either, so please don't get mad when I ask you something that you blogged about :)
Anyway, here we are...10 months into parenthood. Jake is doing great and thriving! At eight months he clapped, crawled, and stood supported. I think he actually crawled on all fours a few days after my last blog post. At nine months he learned to wave hello and goodbye. At ten months, he is cruising along on furniture and the giant glass window in our living room. He is learning to protest and get his feelings hurt when I sternly say "no." But gosh he is SO CUTE! I wish pictures and videos could show just how delicious and delightful he is, but they really don't do him any justice. So I am glad that I get to be his mom and capture his cuteness and rapid growth with my own eyes every day. Everyone told me that months 6 to 9 are the best, but I am really, really enjoying my ten-month-old!
I am also getting closer to my 30th birthday so I have been reflecting on that a lot. I feel so blessed to have accomplished so much before I turned 30...but I will save that for another blog post.
