I can't believe my baby is 6 months old already. It seems like just yesterday we were anxiously waiting to take him home from the NICU. Boy, has he grown fast! Yesterday he was an infant who did nothing but nurse. Now he is turning over, eating solids, holding his own bottle/sippy cup, sleeping well, and babbling. He smiles a lot and is very aware of his environment. He is observant and likes to watch the cars go by in front of our house.
Jake has grown so much and so have Chris and I as parents. When Jake was about 2 1/2 months old I started to actually have fun with him and truly enjoy motherhood. Everyone told me that it only gets better. Well, they were right! Being a mommy is so much better than I ever imagined.The amount of joy that he has brought into our lives is immeasurable. We love him so much and feel very blessed to have such a great baby boy!
